Well, it has been several months since my last post. I am definitely more well rested, though O is still not 100% sleeping through the night. Night before last he was just awake from 11pm-1am. So we just had a little slumber party on his floor, ate goldfish and bananas until he could sleep. He is not 15+months and doing crazy cool (and some not so cool) things. This weekend he brought me his shoes and said his new favorite word 'outside.' He is trying to say 'more' and pointing at things that he wants, mostly bananas. He does get very frustrated when he doesn't get what he wants... sometimes throws himself on the floor. It is actually pretty cute. (see exhibit A.)
We are getting ready to leave Iowa as Mike will defend his dissertation a week from yesterday. It is bittersweet. We will be returning to Corvallis OR which we love but leaving our home, our friends and my grandparents which is sad. Not to mention my job. I am going to have the opportunity to stay home with Owen for awhile which I am so excited about. I am sure more to come as we navigate our new home.
